Hi, I’m Joseph Spicer. I’m a Cybersecurity student and aspiring penetration tester with a passion for securing systems and solving complex technical challenges. I enjoy working with hardware, making tech projects with mini-computers, and coding small tools and games for fun. I currently hold an Associate degree in IT/Cybersecurity, and I’m actively pursuing my Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity to deepen my expertise and stay ahead in a fast-evolving industry. I’ve earned several industry-recognized certifications—including CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, PenTest+, and Python 1—which reflect my commitment to both foundational and advanced knowledge across the IT landscape. My two years at Spirent Communications gave me valuable experience in telecommunications, but I’m now pivoting toward the broader IT field where I can apply my skills more dynamically. Feel free to explore my portfolio, review my hands-on lab documentation, or connect with me to learn more. I’m currently seeking an IT role where I can contribute, continue growing and learning.

Check out my documented experience with virtual labs, or check out my Github repository. I am adding all of my coding projects there! There is a password checker to snag as well!
Created a Pi-Hole for a client. While it works like it should, they did not want to upgrade their Xfinity router. So, the blocked queries do not show though it does block them.
